In the summer of 2011 I had a stint as an actor, this summer I’m repeating myself. Again I’m playing “the writer” in Thomas Bernhard’s play “Am Ziel.” As one should suspect the writer is being humiliated in the play, but more and more it feels as if the “actor” is being humiliated as well.
My stint as an actor is in fact just being humiliated in front of an audience.
But I can still feel the perverse pleasure Thomas Bernhard is offering me.
