Last night I had a reading in a charming hotel in Zell am See, Austria.
After the reading a band started playing in the bar of the hotel.
“Who are these youngsters?” I asked.
“They are ice hockey players,” a waitress said.
The ice hockey players were in the company of young women; one of the ice hockey players handed me a full ashtray. He must have thought that I was a garçon.
