Last night I played laser tag with a couple of friends and my godson. (You’ll find more information about the game here.) My girlfriend thought that it was a good idea to play laser tag for my birthday. Very Freudian indeed, the symbolic killing of all your friends, girlfriends, former girlfriends etcetera. It’s very well possible that she wanted to kill me, or that she wanted to give me the opportunity to kill her, all symbolically of course.
The winners were a female medievalist and the designer of this site. To my chagrin I was just average.
