Money from the mafia

A new restaurant

Raar

Back in 1998 a waiter at my favorite restaurant in New York Saint Ambroeus asked me to invest in a sandwich place he was going to open.
I consulted a lawyer, he advised me against it, and furthermore the sandwich place Via Quadronno was not willing to pay my interest in sandwiches and plates of pasta.
But the idea never completely faded away.
Last night I had dinner with two chefs, among others, who might be interested in starting a restaurant with me. Provided the restaurant is going to be in The Hague or Rotterdam.
We ate at restaurant Raar. The food was mediocre and the service was slightly worse. But the idea to hire dwarfs as waiters might convince future investers.
I decided, given the circumstances, to accept mafia money for my restaurant.
