“We have a new cocktail list,” the French bartender at one of my favorite restaurants (Pearl) in Dublin said enthusiastically.
I could not stick to wine under the circumstances, so I ordered a Raspberry Bellini, but the bartender said: “I have something better for you, I don’t like gin. But this cocktail is truly outstanding, although is has gin in it.” The cocktail was outstanding, it consisted of gin, crème de mure and something else, but unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the cocktail.
