A week ago or so I had dinner with a couple and their son, a lovely toddler.
At a certain point during an interesting conversation he said to me: "You silly bird."

This young man was a wily opponent, I didn't know what to say to him after he had seen right through me.
But there was some comfort, I could call other people "silly bird" as well.
