Dinner in the garden of Barbetta, where I celebrated my engagement party with Elayne Kleeman in the fall of 2001.
Elayne passed away in the summer of 2005.
The Greek bartender is still behind the bar at Barbetta’s. He said: “This keeps me healthy, and not too much meat. My grandmother died at the age of 111, because she only ate meat once a week.”
