Netta Ahituv on a Palestinian peacenik and reborn Christian of about 75 years old, in Haaretz: ‘The mischievous dandy was a Palestinian [Taysir Abu Saada, nicknamed Tass] who was born in the Gaza Strip, to a family that had been forced to leave its home in Jaffa during Israel's War of Independence. He grew up in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, fought against Israel alongside Yasser Arafat's PLO activists, moved to the United States, and there, within 15 years, went from being a dishwasher to a wealthy man. At one point he converted to Christianity and also realized that he was actually in favor of peace between Israelis and Palestinians – not according to the two-state format, but as a federation.’
Ahituv adds that between 2006 and 2008, Tass converted 108 Muslims to Christianity in Gaza.
Now he is trying to convert people to his peace plan, with the patience of Jesus.
