Epstein hit Norway, with a vengeance. Alex Rühle writes in the Süddeutsche: ‘Norway has been experiencing a kind of national meltdown since the publication of the Epstein Files on January 30th.’
And: ‘After the signing of the Oslo Accords, Juul and Rød-Larsen were the leading figures of Norwegian diplomacy. (…) Mona Juul was ambassador to Israel, Great Britain, the UN, and most recently to Jordan and Iraq. Her husband, Terje Rød-Larsen, was Under-Secretary-General at the UN and headed the International Peace Institute (IPI) from 2005 to 2020.’
Terje Rød-Larsen had to resign from the IPI after a Norwegian newspaper reported that he had borrowed $130,000 from Epstein in 2013.
Epstein stipulated in his last will ‘that Juul and Rød-Larsen's two children should each receive five million dollars from his estate.’
Apparently, the funds have been frozen.
But nevertheless, Epstein was mostly good to his friends. And to their children.
