While I was leaving the plane a handsome, bearded Delta flight attendant stopped me. “What are you reading?” he asked. He pointed at a rather thick book I was carrying under my arm.
“Sloterdijk, a German philosopher,” I answered and I showed him the book.
He studied the cover for several seconds, he nodded and then he let me go.
