According to the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung after the disaster near the Italian island of Lampedusa a French photographer declared: “I don’t give a fuck about Bossi, Eritrea, the EU and all that. All I want is a good shot of dead bodies.”

Perhaps that’s all we want: a good shot of dead bodies.
