Last Saturday, in the village of Hub, part of the municipality of Kröning, a so-called “Bauerndisco” took place, i.e. a disco in the countryside.
There are only four of these parties a year in Hub. As part of my research into the Bavarian soul I went to Hub and I observed partygoers from the age of 17 to the age of 70 in a remote boarding house. There is not much you need for happiness.
