In this small ski resort my friend Sigi decided to get married. The wedding ceremony took place in a beautiful chapel; the priest had a healthy sense of humor, the children were smartly dressed. I almost felt ready to convert to Catholicism.
Over dinner, my neighbor, a smart and intelligent woman started a conversation about the novel “Stoner”. Apparently, “Stoner” conquered Austria as well, at least some parts of Austria.
