To die

Riddle

Lisa, a friend, urged me to see her exhibition at the Kunstverein in Hamburg.
This afternoon I took a cab to the Kunstverein. I was the only visitor. I saw the exhibition, which gave me the wonderful feeling that reality and art are just two slightly connected riddles, nothing more, nothing less.
The woman downstairs who had sold me the ticket said: “Have a good afternoon.”
I look at her for one second. I knew enough: she was part of the riddle. She had some important information for me with which I could solve the riddle. But I didn’t engage her, I didn’t ask her any questions.
I’m not ready yet to solve the riddle, I don’t want to die.
