We are all waiting for the blizzard; some of us hope to escape it. If the Gods will be on my side I’ll be flying at 6:30 to Amsterdam. If not I’ll miss my class and the students – that’s something that the students undoubtedly will survive, but I’m not in the mood for another guilt trip.
Last night a Swiss friend said: “The anticipation of the blizzard is exciting, the slight suspense makes everybody happy.”
That is true, waiting for the blizzard is a homeopathic medicine.
