Tonight, there was a small memorial service for my mother.
One of the caregivers of my mother wanted to say something about her, but the rabbis prevented that.
So she said it later in my mother’s home. We drank wine.
Tomorrow I will travel with my mother to Israel, the same trip as I made in 1991 with my father.
