Chamber maid

Ramada

After a short talk about movies and books I returned to my hotelroom in the outskirts of Frankfurt -- one should not stay at the book fair longer than necessary. My hotel room was covered with rosebuds.
An attentive chambermaid, I thought, but unusual in a Ramada Hotel.
Then I realized that this could not have been the work of the chamber maid and I noticed a card and a rose on my laptop. My beloved one had entered the room in my absence. The rosebuds on the floor didn't lead to the bed but to my laptop. Which makes sense, I would argue that in so many ways my laptop is my bed.
