My last day in the monastery, for now at least. During breakfast a young man, one of the other guests, put a notebook on the table with the text: "Today, I chose for silence. Please, be considerate. Thank you for your cooperation."
After breakfast we did the dishes and for a few seconds the young man appeared to forget his vow.
I liked him a lot, but given the circumstances I decided to be considerate, I did my best to hide my feelings.
