The passengers on the KLM-flight from Amsterdam to New York applauded after landing. One of the flight attendants said: "We don't hear this applause very often anymore. Thank you so much." It sounded as if he was very happy with the applause, as if some of the passengers had been applauding for him.
It's definitely a talent to take praise and relief personally.
