Later in the book he writes that the "Kingdome of Darknesse" is "nothing else but a "Confedaration of Deceivers, that to obtain dominon over men in this present world..."

The deceivers are among us, the darkness is inside us and the light is, as far as I'm concerned on this Wednesday evening in November, nothing but watering the plants.
