Again

Shampoo

I went to a drugstore where I ran into a woman I vaguely knew. At the beginning of the century we saw each other almost daily on Park Avenue, she was always with her dogs and a daughter.
We recognized each other immediately. "Where have you been?" she asked.
"I was here," I answered.
Apparently it was her drugstore or she was the manager.
I bought my shampoo, then she said, "nice to see you again."
"Yes," I answered.
In a drugstore and not on the street, without dogs, without stroller, but nice, definitely, nice.
