Shortly before landing in Amsterdam a flight attendant handed me this card, I was touched. You should not allow yourself too much sentimentality - 90 seconds a day at most - but after reading this card I had the feeling that even flying can be a good deed.
Also in New York, while going to a restaurant to pick-up some food I always ordered a bottle of wine or sake, even though I had plenty of wine at home - well, plenty, enough, I don't drink at home, but for this virus I'll make an exception. I just wanted to support the restaurant, knowing that selling booze is the engine of its business model.
Speaking of hoarding, hoarding champagne should be considered one of the better deeds these days. I would go for champagne rosé. Don't be shy, just say: "I'll take all the bottles you have in stock.'
