Tonight, I saw a documentary about competitive table setting or tablescaping, titled ‘Set!’ by Scott Gawlik.
My godson, first year student at hotel management school, was mildly impressed, I was thinking of the differences between judges of literary contests and judges of competitive table setting, and the manner they speak about the tables and the books.
I still believe, most of the time, that only literature can save us, but the literary world and the world of competitive table setting are not that different.
