I’m not sure if somebody has forgotten his hairbrush in my hotel room in Naples, see picture, or that this is just courtesy of the Albergo del Golfo.
It’s my second night here and the hairbrush is still hanging from the blowdryer.
One of the students – today I spoke to a small group of students about my work and the traps of literature in translation – insisted that Naples is special and that I should write about it.
It’s possible that the mafia from Naples is trying to tell me something with this hairbrush.
