A dialogue

500 words

This fall I’ll be teaching a Plato course at the university of Leiden together with a friend of mine.
We’ll be reading the Symposium with the students.
Last night I had dinner with this friend. We had not seen each other in eight years.
After coffee and dessert we decided that the students have to write a dialogue between a spider and a fly in order to get accepted into this course.
Not more than 500 words.
Monologues for the spider, the fly or a bystander are also accepted.
We added just one sentence as further instruction: Please note that the spider is craving for love.
