Because of the children’s book week my godson could go to school in a costume today. He insisted on being disguised as a knight. I have to say that he is fond of swords and guns.
I was asked to read a poem for the children – the theme of this year’s children’s book week is poetry.
While watching the children in various costumes, (magicians, cops, sheriffs, elves, princesses and soccer players) I could remember the anxiety I felt when I had to go to school disguised as doctor or sheriff.
