Last night I saw the movie “Gomorra”.
I was slightly disappointed. We know that the Mafia in Naples (and elsewhere) is bad.
But there were scenes and characters in the movie I really liked. For example the tailor who sells out to the Chinese competitor and who almost gets killed as punishment for his betrayal. I liked the two kids who confused their reality with the movie “Scarface” as well.
The most interesting thing came shortly before the credits at the end. A text pops up saying that the Mafia in Naples has contributed funds to the rebuilding of the Twin Towers.
To the best of my knowledge nobody in New York has filed a libel suit against the director of this movie yet.
