And here's David Brooks with some humor (a friend sent me a mail titled "Brooks humor" - I thought he was referring to Mel, but David is making a comeback):

It's not democracy that's coming to the USA, it's the weaving man that is coming to the USA. It's a beginning, maybe, it's definitely a different kind of vanity.
