The third performance of “Am Ziel” in Amsterdam.
It was the first evening I ate at the theater. I hate to say this, but the food was disappointing. The fish was almost tasteless, the rösti was cold and a dessert was nowhere to be found. But perhaps I’m spoiled.
On the other hand one of the actresses is fond of saying: “I never imagined that the artist’s life would be like this.” If I say that there is nothing but disappointment I’m in sync with Thomas Bernhard’s play.
