Day 2 of my visit to Vaals – read more about the reason for my visit to Vaals here.

This morning I joined the mayor of Vaals for a meeting with his councilors. And in the evening I went to a concert for organ and harpsichord.
In the program I read a quote by Mozart: “Sie wissen das ich kein grosser Liebhaber von Schwierigkeiten bin.” Roughly translated: “You know that I’m not a big fan of difficulties.”

Mozart wasn’t referring to difficulties in life, but to difficulties in compositions.
