This morning the taxi driver in Washington said: "Life is short, very short. Then there's heaven or hell. Heaven is free. It's a gift. Don't pay for it. But we are all sinners, if we don't accept that we are sinners we will never make it to heaven."
"I'm a sinner," I answered.
But the cabbie wasn't satisfied.
