Last week A. Hitler was just ahead of me on the Dutch bestseller list (a new translation of “Mein Kampf” was published a couple of weeks ago in the Netherlands) – this week I’m slightly ahead of A. Hitler. A small relief, but an author or any other artist should not hope for much more than a small relief, probably this is true as well for most other human beings.
