Over lunch I said to a friend about a mutual acquaintance: "She gets bored with people after six months or so."
"We all get bored with people after six months when we live in the same house with them," the friend answered.
"That's quick."
"But we don't have to act upon it, we don't ask for a divorce out of boredom."
I wasn't convinced, but I said: "This might be a wise strategy."
