The Arson Street Cafe

Pecan pie

First visit to a restaurant since March 14.
The restaurant is named The Arson Street Cafe.
Barkeeper and waiters were wearing masks and there was some symbolic and less symbolic social distancing going on. It was pretty full, but around 9:30 people disappeared quickly.
The pasta with shrimps was excellent, the pecan pie was okay.
Somehow I missed the thrill of taking food out. The serious attempt at normality was slightly disappointing.
But Charleston felt different, another world, slightly unsettling, but not unattractive.
Tomorrow Savannah, GA. Waiting to hear from the locals for dinner and drinks: info@arnongrunberg.com.
