Last night after the Albert Verwey Reading, which was my last duty as guest lecturer at Leiden University, I talked to a couple of my students.
One of the students said: “Mr. Grunberg you are wearing these funny socks again.” While I was discussing serious problems some of the students were concentrating on my socks.
